THE ULTIM 32/23 CLASS READY FOR THE ARKEA ULTIM CHALLENGE – BREST!

Traveling around the world solo aboard an Ultim 32/23? The challenge is gigantic and this is the promise of the ARKEA ULTIM CHALLENGE - Brest. A race awaited by all enthusiasts of navigation, innovation and human challenge which, more than ever, takes on its full meaning after the remarkable success of La Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe 2022. A demanding event which has not only proven the good health of the class but also and above all its maturity. In fact, despite particularly trying conditions, both for the organisms and for the machines, all of the eight solo sailors in the running succeeded in the challenge of completing the 3,542 miles of the course between Saint-Malo and Pointe-à-Pitre. A challenge. Better still, proof that the 32-metre maxi trimarans and their skippers are today ready to tackle the challenge of sailing solo around the planet via the three capes, Good Hope, Leeuwin and Horn. A long-awaited oceanic loop of 21,760 miles (40,300 kilometers), departing from and finishing in Brest, which already promises to take on the appearance of a planetary regatta, to provide everyone with an incredible adventure but also to highlight strong values such as emotion, determination and humility. In short, a unique, even historic, event to be written down on the shelves!
