It's the start of a great adventure, and you can all take part. The village will be inaugurated this Friday at 10 a.m. and will then be open every day. This is your chance to discover the 11,000 m2 of exhibition space before welcoming the competitors, as the six skippers and their boats are expected to arrive throughout the afternoon. It's another stage rich in emotions and smiles, ten days before a giant event. Starting this Friday, everything in Brest is set to accelerate. For several days now, dozens of small hands have been busy setting up the impressive structures of the Quai Malbert village.

Skippers to arrive in the afternoon

The general public will be able to enjoy the village from Friday. The village will officially open at 10am. The inauguration will take place at 5 p.m. with local councillors, sponsors and organization representatives. The afternoon will be particularly lively, with all the competitors arriving in the harbour.

Strong winds and weather conditions have prompted the organizer, in conjunction with the teams, to modify the program slightly. The Ultims will arrive in Brest one by one, and will make their entrance through the Narrows, where spectators will be able to watch their arrival. Adagio (Éric Péron) is the first to arrive (14:30), followed by Maxi Banque Populaire XI (Armel Le Cléach) and Sodebo (Thomas Coville). You'll find the detailed timetable below.

Forty-five minutes later, the skippers will arrive near the harbor in Brest harbor. Once again, the public will be able to admire the Ultims from a number of vantage points before they reach the pontoons. While the technical crews are busy working on the boats, the sailors will be interviewed on the quayside, giving the public the first glimpse of their reactions in Brest. A perfect way to kick off the ten days of festivities leading up to the start of the race.
